Our outdoor events are a great way to escape the office for a while, and can be outright fun if that’s the agenda, or have some real Team Development Built into the exercise. We manage the day from start to finish, including venues, transport, catering and accommodation if you choose one of the more adventurous, further afield events! Alpha Two Zero
The CEO has been kidnapped by armed rebels from a rival firm and put up for a GBP 2million ransom. Working in teams you must complete a variety of challenges such as laser shootout, the explosive minefield and blindfold driving in order to raise the funds for the release of your boss. This event combines the fun of a multi-activity day and the development side of a team building event.
Black Cab Challenge
Armed with clues, challenges, a camera and a black cab, complete with knowledgeable driver, participants must race around the city trying to find the selection of interesting items and photo opportunities. One of our most popular and flexible team building options, the treasure hunts can be designed around your home town and easily adapted to foreign cities for those overseas events.
Total Wipeout!
We cordially invite you to sit back, relax and enjoy one of our action packed, internationally renowned, ‘Total Wipeout’ events, supplied by our specialist staff here at White Star Events. Combining a variety of unique inflatables and other games our competitions can cater from as little as 20 right up to 400 participants. Total Wipeout competitions are extremely flexible so can be used as an all day team build with breaks and bonus rounds, through to quick lunch time conference breakouts lasting no more than 90 minutes.
Bushcraft Skills
One for all the budding Ray Mears, the bush craft skills events, teaches teams how survival in harsh climates, relies on trust and teamwork. This event is amazingly flexible in that we can run it as a skills session teaching participants a few outdoor techniques, such as fire lighting and shelter building, or run it over a number of days and nights putting skills into practice and throwing teams together to face natures own challenges.
Country Pursuits Day
Similar to our multi-activity day however with an emphasis on country based sports this event is perfect for city based firms looking to escape the rat race for a day. The event will combine a variety of pursuits including archery, clay pigeon shooting, quad bike trails and falconry. Can be run with a competitive element to provide focus on team building rather than bonding.
Photo Treasure Hunt
You don’t have to be David Bailey to love a photo treasure hunt, in fact they are a real favourite among many of our clients. We supply cameras, maps and clues to contestants who have a set time to collect all the required photos. Can they find 4 Japanese tourists willing to pose for the YMCA? One of our most popular and adaptable team building options, the treasure hunts can be designed around your home town and easily adapted to foreign cities for overseas events.
Water Based Events
Get wet, have fun, learn new skills and build teams! It’s almost too good to be true but this is exactly what our water events involve. With locations all over the country and a huge variety of activities which can include sailing, power boating, ZapCat racing, raft building, hovercraft riding and canoe safaris there is something for all ages, sizes and abilities. School Sports Day
A budget version of the It’s a Knockout our traditional school sports days incorporates all the classic races and challenges with a few new twists added to them. Giant egg and spoon race, 4 person sack races and 3-legged wheelbarrow races are just some of the games that we run.
Experience Days
‘Red Letter Day’ style events are perfect for smaller team building events and staff rewards. Choose from a huge selection of options including driving days, flight experiences, spa days, gourmet experiences, sky diving, Zorbing and even bungee jumping!
Indoor Events
These Indoor events can be run whenever and wherever your schedule demands! Whether acting as breakouts at a conference (mini challenges are good for this!) or as a full or half day event. Lights, Camera, Advertise
Sort the directors from the camera crew with this interesting little exercise. Armed with a camera teams must create a suitable advert for their company or brand. Together they must craft a script and come up with reasonable justifications for what they have written. Once they have the script they must film the advert however it must all be in one take, they cannot rewind! Once the bell goes all teams report back and videos are presented in front of all the staff. Perfect pre-awards ceremony team build.
This creative team build has been successfully run as an event in its own right and as a conference energiser. We provide staff with paints, brushes and canvases and they must recreate a masterpiece on a giant scale. Once they have divided the picture up participants must work in small groups to re-paint the section they have been given on the much larger canvas. It’s then made even harder by the fact they aren’t allowed to see how the other teams are going about the challenge. For a lasting memory we can also have them recreate you company or product logo with resulting picture available for you to proudly display in the office!
Chocolate Making Workshop
Let’s face it, everyone loves chocolate whether we are supposed to or not! A great informal team bonding exercise that will teach guests the secrets behind chocolate making and provide some delicious treats for them in the process. Chocolate workshops can also be run as a team building focussed event whereby teams compete to create a new chocolate bar using a range of ingredients. They must also design packaging and a small advertising campaign before presenting their creations to our panel of expert chocolatiers.
Circus Skills Workshop
Think your team are a bunch or clowns? Well put that theory to the test with our hilarious circus workshop. Skilled circus facilitators will teach your team a range of techniques including juggling, diablos, plate spinning and tight rope walking. They will set team challenges and award prizes over the course of the event to the best (and worst) budding entertainers.
Cocktail Making
Another great team bonding or building exercise that’s a perfect option for an end of week wind down. Our specialist flair bartenders will come to any location armed with an array of drinks, shakers, various glasses and limitless talent. They will spend time talking with guests about the history of various popular cocktails and the secrets of making the perfect drink before they let you all loose with the alcohol! Good team building options are also available.

Their staff will teach teams how to play instruments and perform together as a band, all culminating in a ‘Battle of the bands’ style rock show. Drumming Workshops
